एवम उक्त्वा धृतराष्ट्रॊ मनीषी; हितान्वेषी बान्धवानाम अपायात कृष्णां पाञ्चालीम अब्रवीत सान्त्वपूर्वं; विमृश्यैतत परज्ञया तत्त्वबुद्धिः ।। २-६३-२६ ।।

'After speaking these words, King Dhritarashtra, wise and reflective, realizing the gravity of the situation and aiming to save his kinsmen from ruin, began to console Krishna, the princess of Panchala.' ।। 2-63-26 ।।

english translation

evama uktvA dhRtarASTrò manISI; hitAnveSI bAndhavAnAma apAyAta kRSNAM pAJcAlIma abravIta sAntvapUrvaM; vimRzyaitata parajJayA tattvabuddhiH || 2-63-26 ||
