[ध] दवितीयं ते वरं भद्रे ददामि वरयस्व माम मनॊ हि मे वितरति नैकं तवं वरम अर्हसि ।। २-६३-३१ ।।
'Dhritarashtra said to her, “O auspicious one, let it be as thou hast said. Ask for another boon, for I am inclined to grant it. Thou art deserving of more than one boon.”' ।। 2-63-31 ।।
[दर] सरथौ सधनुष्कौ च भीमसेनधनंजयौ नकुलं सहदेवं च दवितीयं वरये वयम ।। २-६३-३२ ।।
'Draupadi said, “I ask for the release of Bhima and Arjuna, who are bound by the stakes of the game, as well as Nakula and Sahadeva. Let them be freed from servitude.”' ।। 2-63-32 ।।
[ध] तृतीयं वरयास्मत्तॊ नासि दवाभ्यां सुसत कृता तवं हि सर्वस्नुषाणां मे शरेयसी धर्मचारिणी ।। २-६३-३३ ।।
'Dhritarashtra said, "O blessed daughter, let it be as you desire. You may ask for a third boon, for two boons do not suffice to honor you as you deserve. You are the foremost of all my daughters-in-law, virtuous in your conduct."' ।। 2-63-33 ।।
'Draupadi replied, "O best of kings, O illustrious one, avarice leads only to the loss of virtue. I do not deserve a third boon, and thus I do not wish to ask for one.' ।। 2-63-34 ।।
'It is said that a Vaisya may ask for one boon, a Kshatriya woman may ask for two, a Kshatriya man for three, and a Brahmana for a hundred.' ।। 2-63-35 ।।
