'Behold, O kings of the Kuru dynasty, the immense danger posed by Bhimasena. Understand that this grave calamity threatening the Bharatas is the result of Destiny’s decree.' ।। 2-63-16 ।।
'The sons of Dhritarashtra, in their reckless gambling, have ignored all propriety and are now, in this assembly, embroiled in a dispute over a lady of the royal family.' ।। 2-63-17 ।।
'Our kingdom’s prosperity is at an end. Alas, the Kauravas are still engaged in their sinful schemes. Hear this high precept I declare, O Kauravas: When virtue is persecuted, the entire assembly becomes tainted. Had Yudhishthira staked her before he himself was lost, he would indeed have been considered her master.' ।। 2-63-18 ।।
'But if someone stakes something when he himself is incapable of possessing any wealth, winning it is akin to acquiring wealth in a dream. Heed this undeniable truth and do not stray from it, despite the words of the king of Gandhara.' ।। 2-63-19 ।।
'Duryodhana, upon hearing Vidura, replied, "I am prepared to follow the words of Bhima, Arjuna, and the twins. Let them declare that Yudhishthira is not their master, and thus Yajnaseni shall be freed from her bondage."' ।। 2-63-20 ।।
