युधिष्ठिरस तु परश्ने ऽसमिन परमाणम इति मे मतिः अजितां वा जितां वापि सवयं वयाहर्तुम अर्हति ।। २-६२-२१ ।।
'However, it seems to me that Yudhishthira is the one who should resolve this matter. It is his duty to declare whether you are won or not.' ।। 2-62-21 ।।
'Vaisampayana said: The kings present in that assembly, despite witnessing Draupadi weeping in distress like a female osprey and repeatedly appealing to them, remained silent and uttered not a word, whether good or ill, out of fear of Duryodhana.' ।। 2-62-22 ।।
'And seeing the kings, as well as their sons and grandsons, all remaining silent, the son of Dhritarashtra smiled slightly. Addressing the daughter of the Panchala king, he said:' ।। 2-62-23 ।।
'O Panchali, let them declare before these assembled dignitaries that Yudhishthira is not their lord and thus expose King Yudhishthira the Just as a liar. thou shalt then be freed from the condition of slavery.' ।। 2-62-25 ।।
