अस्य पापस्य दुर्जातेर भारतापसदस्य च न पिबेयं बलाद वक्षॊ भित्त्वा चेद रुधिरं युधि ।। २-६१-४६ ।।

sanskrit

'By sheer force, I shall tear open the chest of this wretched, evil-minded scoundrel from the Bharata lineage. If I do not then drink his lifeblood, let me be barred from attaining the abode of my forefathers.' ।। 2-61-46 ।।

english translation

asya pApasya durjAtera bhAratApasadasya ca na pibeyaM balAda vakSò bhittvA ceda rudhiraM yudhi || 2-61-46 ||

'The collective outcry of the assembly was so intense that it made everyone shiver. The righteous members of the assembly lamented, 'Alas! The Kauravas do not answer the question posed by Draupadi.' United in their condemnation of Dhritarashtra, they raised a deafening clamor.' ।। 2-61-50 ।।

na vibruvanti kauravyAH paraznama etama iti sama ha sajanaH karòzati samAtra dhRtarASTraM vigarhayana || 2-61-50 ||
