[वि] दरौपदी परश्नम उक्त्वैवं रॊरवीति हय अनाथवत न च विब्रूत तं परश्नं सभ्या धर्मॊ ऽतर पीड्यते ।। २-६१-५२ ।।
'O members of this assembly, Draupadi has asked her question and is weeping helplessly, yet you do not answer her. Such conduct is an affront to virtue and righteousness.' ।। 2-61-52 ।।
'An afflicted person approaches a gathering of honorable men as one would seek refuge from a consuming fire. They that are in the assembly quench that fire and cool him using truth and morality.' ।। 2-61-53 ।।
'The afflicted person poses questions about his rights, as defined by morality, to the assembly. Those present should answer impartially, without being swayed by personal interest or anger.' ।। 2-61-54 ।।
