'O lord of the people, when Draupadī's garment was being pulled off her, then another garment appeared again and again (Yajnaseni was crying aloud to Krishna, also called Vishnu and Hari and Nara for protection, the illustrious Dharma, remaining unseen, covered her with excellent clothes of many hues).' ।। 2-61-41 ।।
'And the kings present in that assembly beholding that most extraordinary of all sights in the world, began to applaud Draupadi and censure the son of Dhritarashtra.' ।। 2-61-42 ।।
'And Bhima then, squeezing his hands, with lips quivering in rage, swore in the midst of all those kings a terrible oath in a loud voice.' ।। 2-61-43 ।।
इदं मे वाक्यम आदद्ध्वं कषत्रिया लॊकवासिनः नॊक्तपूर्वं नरैर अन्यैर न चान्यॊ यद वदिष्यति ।। २-६१-४४ ।।
'Hear these words of mine, O Kshatriya rulers of the world. Such words have never before been uttered by any other men, nor will anyone in the future ever speak them.' ।। 2-61-44 ।।
'Ye lords of the earth, if after proclaiming these words, I fail to accomplish them hereafter, then may I be denied the realm of my ancestral spirits.' ।। 2-61-45 ।।
