[प] यदा नाभूत कैतवम अन्यद अस्य; तदादेवीत पाण्डवॊ ऽजातशत्रुः नयस्ताः पूर्वं भरातरस तेन राज्ञा; सवयं चात्मा तवम अथॊ राजपुत्रि ॥ २-६०-६ ॥
'The Pratikamin said, "When there was nothing else left to stake, it was then that Ajatasatru, the son of Pandu, staked you. The king first staked his brothers, then himself, and finally you, O princess."' ॥ 2-60-6 ॥

[द] गच्छ तवं कितवं गत्वा सभायां पृच्छ सूतज किं नु पूर्वं पराजैषीर आत्मानं मां नु भारत एतज जञात्वा तवम आगच्छ ततॊ मां नयसूतज ॥ २-६०-७ ॥
'Draupadi said, "O son of the Suta race, go and ask the gambler in the assembly whom he lost first—himself or me. Once you have ascertained this, come back and take me with you, O son of the Suta race."' ॥ 2-60-7 ॥

[व] सभां गत्वा स चॊवाच दरौपद्यास तद वचस तदा कस्येशॊ नः पराजैषीर इति तवाम आह दरौपदी किं नु पूर्वं पराजैषीर आत्मानम अथ वापि माम ॥ २-६०-८ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued: "The messenger returned to the assembly and relayed Draupadi's words to everyone present. He then addressed Yudhishthira, who was seated among the kings, saying, 'Draupadi asks you: At the time you lost her in the game, whom did you stake first—yourself or her?'"' ॥ 2-60-8 ॥

युधिष्ठिरस तु निश्चेष्टॊ गतसत्त्व इवाभवत न तं सूतं परत्युवाच वचनं साध्व असाधु वा ॥ २-६०-९ ॥
'Yudhishthira, however, sat there like one demented and deprived of reason and did not answer good or ill to the Suta.' ॥ 2-60-9 ॥
english translation
[दुर] इहैत्य कृष्णा पाञ्चाली परश्नम एतं परभाषताम इहैव सर्वे शृण्वन्तु तस्या अस्य च यद वचः ॥ २-६०-१० ॥
'Duryodhana then said, "Let the princess of Panchala come forward and present her question. Let everyone in this assembly hear the exchange between her and Yudhishthira."' ॥ 2-60-10 ॥
