'O princess, those in the assembly are summoning you. It seems the end of the Kauravas is near. When Duryodhana insists on bringing you before the assembly, this weak-minded king will no longer be able to protect his prosperity.' ।। 2-60-12 ।।
'Draupadi said, "The great ordained of the world has indeed decreed it so. Happiness and misery visit both the wise and the unwise. However, it is said that morality is the highest object in the world. If upheld, it will surely bring us blessings.' ।। 2-60-13 ।।
'Vaisampayana continued: "Hearing of Duryodhana's intentions, Yudhishthira, the best of the Bharatas, approved of Draupadi's message and sent the messenger back to the assembly."' ।। 2-60-14 ।।
'Yudhishthira, O bull of the Bharata race, upon hearing of Duryodhana's intentions, sent a trusted messenger to Draupadi. He directed her to come before her father-in-law, despite being clad in a single garment with her navel exposed due to her menstrual period, and weeping bitterly.' ।। 2-60-15 ।।
