'King Duryodhana, his heart filled with joy, cast his eyes upon them and addressed the Suta, saying, 'Pratikamin, bring her here. Let the Kauravas answer her question in her presence.'' ।। 2-60-16 ।।
'The Suta, though obedient to the king's command, was terrified of the potential wrath of Drupada's daughter. Torn between fear and his reputation for wisdom, he turned once more to those in the assembly and asked, 'What shall I say to Krishna?'' ।। 2-60-17 ।।
'Duryodhana, upon hearing this, said, 'Dussasana, this son of my Suta, lacking in intelligence, fears Vrikodara. Therefore, go yourself and forcibly bring Yajnasena's daughter here. Our enemies are now completely at our mercy. What can they do thee?'' ।। 2-60-18 ।।
'Obeying his brother’s command, Prince Dussasana rose with bloodshot eyes and, entering the chamber of the great warriors spoke these words to the princess.' ।। 2-60-19 ।।
'Come, come, O Krishna, princess of Panchala, we have won you. O lotus-eyed one, accept the Kurus as your lords. You have been won fairly, so enter the assembly.' ।। 2-60-20 ।।
