ततॊ ऽबरवीत तां परसभं निगृह्य; केशेषु कृष्णेषु तदा स कृष्णाम कृष्णं च जिष्णुं च हरिं नरं च; तराणाय विक्रॊश नयामि हि तवाम ॥ २-६०-२६ ॥
'Then, grabbing her roughly by her hair, he said, 'I am taking you to Krishna, Vishnu, and Hari for your protection. I will now lead you to them, crying out for your rescue.'' ॥ 2-60-26 ॥

रजस्वला वा भव याज्ञसेनि; एकाम्बरा वाप्य अथ वा विवस्त्रा दयूते जिता चासि कृतासि दासी; दासीषु कामश च यथॊपजॊषम ॥ २-६०-२७ ॥
'Whether it is your time or not, whether you are clad in a single garment or completely naked, since you have been won in the game of dice and are now our servant, you must live among our serving women as you are told.' ॥ 2-60-27 ॥

परकीर्णकेशी पतितार्ध वस्त्रा; दुःशासनेन वयवधूयमाना हरीमत्य अमर्षेण च दह्यमाना; शनैर इदं वाक्यम उवाच कृष्णा ॥ २-६०-२८ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued: 'With her hair disheveled and her attire partially loosened, and being dragged about by Dussasana, the modest Krishna, consumed with anger, spoke these words faintly:'' ॥ 2-60-28 ॥

इमे सभायाम उपदिष्ट शास्त्राः; करियावन्तः सर्व एवेन्द्र कल्पाः गुरु सथाना गुरवश चैव सर्वे; तेषाम अग्रे नॊत्सहे सथातुम एवम ॥ २-६०-२९ ॥
'In this assembly are individuals well-versed in all branches of learning, devoted to performing sacrifices and other rites, and all of whom are esteemed like Indra. Some of these are my actual superiors, while others deserve the same respect. I cannot remain before them in this state.' ॥ 2-60-29 ॥

नृशंसकर्मंस तवम अनार्य वृत्त; मा मां विवस्त्रां कृधि मा विकार्षीः न मर्षयेयुस तव राजपुत्राः; सेन्द्रापि देवा यदि ते सहायाः ॥ २-६०-३० ॥
'O wretch, with your cruel deeds, do not drag me or expose me in this manner. The princes will not forgive you, even if you have the gods, with Indra among them, as your allies.' ॥ 2-60-30 ॥
