'Sakuni said, "This foremost archer, the son of Pandu, who excels in using both hands with equal skill, has now been won by me. O King, you may now stake the remaining wealth, even including Bhima, your dear brother, as your wager."' ।। 2-58-22 ।।
[य] यॊ नॊ नेता यॊ युधां नः परणेता; यथा वज्री दानव शत्रुर एकः तिर्यक परेक्षी संहतभ्रूर महात्मा; सिंहस्कन्धॊ यश च सदात्यमर्षी ।। २-५८-२३ ।।
'Yudhishthira said, "O King, although Bhimasena may be undeserving of being staked, I will now wager him. He is our leader, foremost in battle, like the wielder of the thunderbolt, the singular enemy of the Danavas. He is the high-souled one with a lion-like neck, arched eyebrows, and eyes that look askance."' ।। 2-58-23 ।।
'Who is unable to tolerate an insult, who has no equal in strength in the world, who is the foremost among all mace-wielders, and who crushes all his enemies.' ।। 2-58-24 ।।
