'Vaiśampāyana continued, "When these words were spoken, the vile Shakuni, driven by enmity, said to Yudhishthira, 'Behold, I have won it.'"' ।। 2-54-21 ।।
'Yudhishthira said, "I possess steeds of the Tittiri, Kalmasha, and Gandharva breeds, adorned with ornaments. These horses were cheerfully gifted to Arjuna, the wielder of the Gandiva, by Chitraratha after being vanquished in battle. This wealth, O King, I stake against you."' ।। 2-54-22 ।।
'Vaiśampāyana continued, "When these words were spoken, the vile Shakuni, driven by enmity, said to Yudhishthira, 'Behold, I have won it.'"' ।। 2-54-23 ।।
[य] रथानां शकटानां च हयानां चायुतानि मे युक्तानाम एव तिष्ठन्ति वाहैर उच्चावचैर वृताः ।। २-५४-२४ ।।
'Yudhishthira said, "I have tens of thousands of chariots and carts, along with horses of various qualities. They stand ready, harnessed and surrounded by steeds of differing heights and strengths."' ।। 2-54-24 ।।
'I have sixty thousand warriors selected by the thousands from each order, all of whom are brave and possess the prowess of heroes. They are well-nourished, drinking milk and eating fine rice, with broad chests and great strength.' ।। 2-54-25 ।।
