एवं वर्णस्य वर्णस्य समुच्चीय सहस्रशः कषीरं पिबन्तस तिष्ठन्ति भुञ्जानाः शालितण्डुलान ॥ २-५४-२५ ॥
'I have sixty thousand warriors selected by the thousands from each order, all of whom are brave and possess the prowess of heroes. They are well-nourished, drinking milk and eating fine rice, with broad chests and great strength.' ॥ 2-54-25 ॥

evaM varNasya varNasya samuccIya sahasrazaH kaSIraM pibantasa tiSThanti bhuJjAnAH zAlitaNDulAna ॥ 2-54-25 ॥
