कच चिन नगरगुप्त्य अर्थं गरामा नगरवत कृताः गरामवच च कृता रक्षा ते च सर्वे तद अर्पणाः ।। २-५-७१ ।।

sanskrit

'Have the villages been fortified like towns, and the hamlets and outskirts of villages been strengthened like villages, to ensure the protection of your city? Do you have complete oversight and control over all of these matters?' ।। 2-5-71 ।।

english translation

Do you then rise from bed at the appropriate time, dress yourself well, and present yourself to your people, accompanied by ministers knowledgeable about auspicious and inauspicious times?' ।। 2-5-75 ।।
