आवर्जिता इवाभान्ति निघ्नाश चैत्रकि कौकुराः कारः करा लॊहजङ्घा युधिष्ठिर निवेशने ॥ २-४६-२१ ॥
'Chaitraki, the Kaukuras appear to be subdued and the Nighnas, Karas, and Lohajangas seem to be under control in Yudhishthira's domain.' ॥ 2-46-21 ॥
english translation
AvarjitA ivAbhAnti nighnAza caitraki kaukurAH kAraH karA lòhajaGghA yudhiSThira nivezane ॥ 2-46-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहिमवत्सागरानूपाः सर्वरत्नाकरास तथा अन्त्याः सर्वे पर्युदस्ता युधिष्ठिर निवेशने ॥ २-४६-२२ ॥
'In Yudhishthira's domain, all the regions from the Himalayas to the sea shores, along with all the mines of precious gems, and even the most distant lands, have been brought under control.' ॥ 2-46-22 ॥
english translation
himavatsAgarAnUpAH sarvaratnAkarAsa tathA antyAH sarve paryudastA yudhiSThira nivezane ॥ 2-46-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजयेष्ठॊ ऽयम इति मां मत्वा शरेष्ठश चेति विशां पते युधिष्ठिरेण सत्कृत्य युक्तॊ रत्नपरिग्रहे ॥ २-४६-२३ ॥
'And, O monarch, considering me as the eldest and deserving of respect, Yudhishthira honored me appropriately and entrusted me with the responsibility of receiving the jewels and gems brought as tribute.' ॥ 2-46-23 ॥

jayeSThò 'yama iti mAM matvA zareSThaza ceti vizAM pate yudhiSThireNa satkRtya yuktò ratnaparigrahe ॥ 2-46-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपस्थितानां रत्नानां शरेष्ठानाम अर्घ हारिणाम नादृश्यत परः परान्तॊ नापरस तत्र भारत ॥ २-४६-२४ ॥
'O Bharata, the extent and value of the exquisite and priceless jewels brought there were beyond measure.' ॥ 2-46-24 ॥

upasthitAnAM ratnAnAM zareSThAnAma argha hAriNAma nAdRzyata paraH parAntò nAparasa tatra bhArata ॥ 2-46-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन मे हस्तः समभवद वसु तत परतिगृह्णतः परातिष्ठन्त मयि शरान्ते गृह्य दूराहृतं वसु ॥ २-४६-२५ ॥
'O king, my hands grew fatigued from receiving such immense wealth. When I was exhausted, those who had brought these treasures from distant lands would wait until I was able to continue my task.' ॥ 2-46-25 ॥

na me hastaH samabhavada vasu tata paratigRhNataH parAtiSThanta mayi zarAnte gRhya dUrAhRtaM vasu ॥ 2-46-25 ॥
