ततश चेदिपुरं पराप्तौ संकर्षण जनार्दनौ यादवौ यादवीं दरस्तुं सवसारं तां पितुस तदा ॥ २-४०-१४ ॥
'Upon hearing of these events in Dwarka, the mighty Yadava heroes, Sankarshana and Janardana, went to the capital of the Chedis to see their father’s sister, the Yadavi, the queen of Chedi.' ॥ 2-40-14 ॥
