[भस] नास्मा अनुनयॊ देयॊ नायम अर्हति सान्त्वनम लॊकवृद्धतमे कृष्णे यॊ ऽरहणां नानुमन्यते ॥ २-३५-६ ॥
'Bhishma also, after this, said, "He who does not approve of the worship offered to Krishna, the most venerable among all, is not deserving of gentle words or conciliation."' ॥ 2-35-6 ॥
english translation
कषत्रियः कषत्रियं जित्वा रणे रणकृतां वरः यॊ मुञ्चति वशे कृत्वा गुरुर भवति तस्य सः ॥ २-३५-७ ॥
'The chief of warriors among the Kshatriyas, who, after defeating another Kshatriya in battle and bringing him under his control, sets him free, becomes the preceptor of the vanquished.' ॥ 2-35-7 ॥
english translation
अस्यां च समितौ राज्ञाम एकम अप्य अजितं युधि न पश्यामि महीपालं सात्वती पुत्र तेजसा ॥ २-३५-८ ॥
'In this assembly of kings, O son of Satvati, I do not see even a single ruler who is undefeated in battle by your prowess.' ॥ 2-35-8 ॥
english translation
न हि केवलम अस्माकम अयम अर्च्यतमॊ ऽचयुतः तरयाणाम अपि लॊकानाम अर्चनीयॊ जनार्दनः ॥ २-३५-९ ॥
'This person, with his unblemished glory, deserves worship not just from us but from the three worlds.' ॥ 2-35-9 ॥

कृष्णेन हि जिता युद्धे बहवः कषत्रियर्षभाः जगत सर्वं च वार्ष्णेये निखिलेन परतिष्ठितम ॥ २-३५-१० ॥
'Countless Kshatriya warriors have been vanquished by Krishna in battle. The whole universe without limit is established in him of the Vrishni race.' ॥ 2-35-10 ॥
