पावके विनिवृत्ते तु नीलॊ राजाभ्ययात तदा सत्कारेण नरव्याघ्रं सहदेवं युधां पतिम ॥ २-२८-३६ ॥

'Finally, after Agni had departed, King Nila arrived and, at the deity's command, performed the appropriate rites to honor Sahadeva, the great warrior and master of battle.' ॥ 2-28-36 ॥

pAvake vinivRtte tu nIlò rAjAbhyayAta tadA satkAreNa naravyAghraM sahadevaM yudhAM patima ॥ 2-28-36 ॥

परतिगृह्य च तां पूजां करे च विनिवेश्य तम माद्री सुतस ततः परायाद विजयी दक्षिणां दिशम ॥ २-२८-३७ ॥

'Sahadeva accepted the worship and demanded tribute from King Nila. Having established his dominance over him, the victorious son of Madri then continued southward.' ॥ 2-28-37 ॥

'After this, with great effort, the prince brought Akriti, the king of Saurashtra and the preceptor of the Kausikas, under his control.' ॥ 2-28-39 ॥
