भीष्मकाय स धर्मात्मा साक्षाद इन्द्र सखाय वै स चास्य ससुतॊ राजन परतिजग्राह शासनम ।। २-२८-४१ ।।

'Rukmin, who was both wealthy and intelligent, was a friend of Indra himself. The monarch, along with his son, recalling their connection with Krishna, gladly accepted the authority of the son of Pandu.' ।। 2-28-41 ।।

परीतिपूर्वं महाबाहुर वासुदेवम अवेक्ष्य च ततः स रत्नान्य आदाय पुनः परायाद युधां पतिः ।। २-२८-४२ ।।
