पापा यदि दशानाथाः शुभानां तदसंयुजाम् ॥ भुक्तयः पापफलदास्तत्संयुक्शुभभुक्तयः ॥ ३७ ॥
If the period lords (dashanatha) are malefics (papa), the sub-periods (bhukti) of benefics (shubha) unconnected with them give unfavourable results (papaphala), while the sub-periods of benefics joined with them (continued in the next verse)
