मध्यमान्युभयभाज्जि महाराष्ट्रकाणामिति ॥ ११ ॥

महाराष्ट्रवासियों के नख मध्यम प्रकार के होते हैं अर्थात् न गौड़ों के समान दीर्घ आकार के होते हैं और न दाक्षिणात्यों के समान ह्रस्व आकार के ॥ ११ ॥

तैः सुनियमितनुदेशे स्तनयोरधरे वा लघुकरणमनुद्गतलेखं स्पर्शमात्र- जननाद् रोमाञ्चकरमन्ते सन्निपातवर्धमानशब्दमाच्छुरितकम् ॥ १२ ॥
Seven areas of the body are suitable for scratching. First scratch the breasts and lower lip with a light hand and a continuous stroke. A light touch causes gooseflesh. When the pressure applied is stronger, it is termed the knife stroke [achchuritaka].

आच्छुरितक हाथ की अंगुलियों को एक साथ मिलाकर कपोल, स्तन या अधर पर ऐसा हल्का स्पर्श किया जाये कि शरीर रोमान्वित हो उठे, लेकिन क्षत न हो, और नखों के परस्पर टकराने से चटचट शब्द बड़े उसे आच्छुरितक नखक्षत कहते हैं ॥ १२ ॥

प्रयोज्यायां च तस्याङ्गसंवाहने शिरसः कण्डूयने पिटकभेदने व्याकुलीकरणे भीषणेन प्रयोगः ॥ १३ ॥
When a girl is receptive, agitates her limbs, scratches her head, removes her blackheads out of nervousness, it is a sign that the time is ripe to mark her cruelly.

अवस्थानुरूप प्रयोग - जब नायिका, नायक का शरीर दबा रही हो, सिर खुजा रही हो, मुंहासे फोड़ रही हो अथवा जब उसे कामोत्तेजित करना हो, तब इसका अत्यधिक प्रयोग होता है इसका प्रयोग नायक और नायिका, दोनों एक-दूसरे को उत्तेजित करने में कर सकते हैं ॥ १३॥

ग्रीवायां स्तनपृष्ठे च वक्रो नखपदनिवेशोऽर्धचन्द्रकः ॥ १४ ॥
The half-moon : The semicircular mark left by the nail on the neck or below the breasts is called the half-moon. Very cruel when done with the little finger, it is more permanent when done with the middle one.

अर्धचन्द्र और उसका स्थान- जब गले और स्तनों पर अर्धचन्द्र के समान नखों से चिह्न अङ्कित किया जाये तो उसे अर्धचन्द्र कहते हैं ॥ १४ ॥
