If the woman's clothes are wet from the rain, during a sudden shower, he himself changes her clothes and gets his friends to help, for their service both day and night.

यदि पावस में आने वाली अभिसारिकाओं का वर्षा की बूँदों से भृङ्गार बिगड़ गया हो, तो स्वयं ही उनका शृङ्गार करे, अथवा मित्रों से उनको परिचर्या कराये इस प्रकार यह दिनचर्या और रात्रिचर्या समाप्त हुई ॥ १३ ॥

नैमित्तिक कृत्य — घटानिबन्धन (देवालय में सामूहिक नृत्यगान का आयोजन), गोष्ठीसमवाय (नागरकों की कलाविषयक गोष्ठियाँ), समाधानक (सामूहिक पान व्यवस्था), उद्यानगमन (उपवनविहार) और समस्याक्रीड़ा- नागरक को इन सामूहिक विनोदक्रीड़ाओं में यथावसर प्रवृत्त होना चाहिये ॥ १४ ॥
