आसन्ने च विवाहे मातरमस्यास्तदभिमतदोषैरनुशयं ग्राहयेत् ॥ २१ ॥

माता की सहमति से गुप्त विवाह-यदि नायिका का सम्बन्ध कहीं निश्चित हो गया हो, तो विवाह तिथि के निकट आने पर निश्चित वर के दुर्गुणों का वर्णन कर, कन्या की माता के मन मस्तिष्क को विकृत कर दे, और जब वह उस वर को अपनी पुत्री देने को मना कर दे, तो नायक की प्रशंसा करके उसके लिए तैयार कर ले ॥ २१ ॥

ततस्तदनुमतेन प्रातिवेश्याभवने निशि नायकमानाय्य श्रोत्रियागारादग्निमिति समानं पूर्वेण ॥ २२ ॥

भ्रातरमस्या वा समानवयसं वेश्यासु परस्त्रीषु वा प्रसक्तमसुकरेण साहाय्यदानेन प्रियोपग्रहैश्च सुदीर्घकालमनुरञ्जयेत् । अन्ते च स्वाभिप्रायं ग्राहयेत् ॥ २३ ॥
If the young man is attracted by a courtesan or a married woman, it is better to win the friendship of one of her brothers of his own age and, by services rendered and kindnesses, make him finally come to understand his aim.

भाई की सहमति से विवाह - वेश्या या परस्त्री पर पूर्णतः आसक्त, समान अवस्था वाले कन्या के भाई को दुर्लभ सहायता और प्रिय उपहारों से दीर्घकाल तक आकृष्ट और अनुरक्त करे और अन्त में अपना अभिप्राय प्रकट कर दे ॥ २३ ॥

प्रायेण हि युवानः समानशीलव्यसनवयसां वयस्यानामर्थे जीवितमपि त्यजन्ति। ततस्तेनैवान्यकार्यात् तामानाययेत् । विषह्यं सावकाशमिति समानं पूर्वेण ॥ २४ ॥
Young men of the same age and character are often ready to give even their life for their friend, and help each other's enterprises, if the opportunity arises. अष्टमीचन्द्रिकादिषु च धात्रेयिका मदनीयमेनां पाययित्वा किञ्चिदात्मनः कार्यमुद्दिश्य नायकस्य विषह्यं देशमानयेत् । तत्रैनां मदात् संज्ञामप्रतिपद्यमानां दूषयित्वेति समानं पूर्वेण ॥ २५ ॥
In circumstances such as the eighth day festival dedicated to the moon, the nurse contrives to let the girl drink and, having made her drunk, under the pretext of having something to do, leads her to an isolated place where the boy is to be found. पैशाचविवाह - अष्टमी, चन्द्रिका आदि उत्सवों पर धाय की पुत्री या सखी नायिका को मदिरा आदि पिलाकर, अपने किसी कार्य के बहाने निरापद स्थान पर ले आये। वहाँ मदिरापान के कारण स्थिति न समझ पाने वाली नायिका को नायक से दूषित कराकर उसके बन्धु बान्धवों से प्रकट कर दिया जाये ॥ २५ ॥
