प्रायेण हि युवानः समानशीलव्यसनवयसां वयस्यानामर्थे जीवितमपि त्यजन्ति। ततस्तेनैवान्यकार्यात् तामानाययेत् । विषह्यं सावकाशमिति समानं पूर्वेण ॥ २४ ॥

Young men of the same age and character are often ready to give even their life for their friend, and help each other's enterprises, if the opportunity arises. यह सुनिश्चित तथ्य है कि प्रायः युवक समान शील, व्यसन और अवस्था वाले युवकों के लिए अपने प्राण तक न्यौछावर कर डालते हैं। अतएव भाई को ही माध्यम बनाकर किसी बहाने से नायिका को बुला ले और किसी निरापद स्थान पर पूर्ववत् अग्नि की साक्षी में विवाह कर ते ॥ २४ ॥
