अष्टवर्गं समुद्धृत्य ग्रहाणां राशिमण्डले। प्राग्वत् त्रिकोणं संशोध्य पश्चादेकाधिपत्यम्॥५१॥

एकस्मिन् मण्डलाधिक्ये शोधयेच्चक्रमण्डलम्। द्वादशैव तु गृह्णीयादेवं सर्वेषु राशिषु॥५२॥
If the figure in any Rasi exceed 12, then subtract from it 12 or multiplies of 12 (if necessary) and keep the remainder in tact. All the Rasis should be similarly treated.

पूर्वोक्तगुणकारैस्तैर्वर्धयेच्च पृथक् पृथक्। एकीकृत्य तु तत्सर्वं सप्तभिर्गुणयेत्पुनः॥५३॥
These should then be multiplied by their respective Rasi and Graha multipliers and their sumtotal should be further multiplied by 7 . -

सप्तविंशत्या च भाज्यं लब्धमायुः प्रदृश्यते। द्वादशादिगुणं शिष्टं मासाद्यं हारभाजितम्॥५४॥
- and then divided by 27. The quotient will reveal the requisite Ayus in years, months, days, etc.

शतोर्ध्वं यदि तत्पिण्डं मण्डलोनाव (100) शेषयेत्। शतमेव तु गृह्णीयाद्दीर्घायुर्योगसंभवे ॥५५॥
When the figure exceeds 100, remove as many hundreds as may be necessary. If the 'native be declared as long-lived, then 100 alone should be taken.
