तद्भागशुद्धाः संग्राह्या मण्डलाधिकवत्सराः। अन्योन्यमर्धहरणं ग्रहयोगे तु कारयेत्॥४५॥

When a figure divided by 27 yields a remainder, the remainder alone should be taken as the number of years contributed. When a planet is conjoined with another, the contributions of both the planets should be reduced by a half.

english translation

tadbhAgazuddhAH saMgrAhyA maNDalAdhikavatsarAH। anyonyamardhaharaNaM grahayoge tu kArayet॥45॥
