एकस्मिन् भवने शून्ये तत्त्रिकोण न शोधयेत्। भवनद्वयशून्यत्वे शोधयेदन्यमन्दिरम्।३१॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमत्वे सर्वगेहेषु सर्वं संशोधयेद्बुधः। एवं त्रिकोणं संशोध्य पश्चादेकाधिपत्यजम्॥३२॥
If all the three houses should have equal number of dots, remove all the three figures. Having thus done the reduction in respect of Trikonas, one should do that for those pairs of Rasis having a common lord in the way described below: . -

hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्षेत्रद्वये फलानि स्युर्यदि संशोधयेद्बुधः। क्षीणेन सह चान्यस्मिंच्छोधयेद्ग्रहवर्जिते॥३३॥
- Should the two houses owned by a planet both contain benefic dots it is only then that a wise astrologer should resort to this reduction.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptग्रहयुक्ते फलैर्हीने ग्रहहीने फलाधिके। ऊनेन सह चान्यस्मिंच्छोधयेद्ग्रहवर्जिते॥३४॥
When one of the signs owned by a planet contains a smaller number of benefic dots than the other which is void of any planet, the smaller number should be adopted for both the signs.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptफलाधिके ग्रहोपेते चान्यस्मिन् सर्वमुत्सृजेत्। सग्रहाग्रहतुल्यत्वे सर्वं संशोध्यमग्रहात्॥३५॥
When the sign occupied by a planet contains a greater number of benefic dots than the other having no planet in it, remove all the dots from the latter. If there be an equal number of benefic dots in both the houses owned by a planet and if one of them alone be occupied, remove all the dots from the other.
