अपरं दशानुनयनं स्वयमार्गेण जीवशर्मोक्तम्। तस्मादायुर्दायं वक्ष्ये विषयप्रकारं च॥२१॥

There is another method of finding out the Dasa (total life period) expounded by Jeevasarman according to his own doctrine. (A planet contributes according to him, one-seventh of the maximum period of of man's existence i. e., 120 years, 5 days.) Hence, I shall now treat of that system of Ayurdaya and also the procedure for calculating the same.
