अंशोद्भवं विलग्नात्पैण्डं भानोर्निसर्गजं चन्द्रात्। एतेषां यो बलवांस्तस्यामुं कल्पयेद्दायम्॥१९॥

Of the several kinds of Ayurdaya, the Amsayurdaya system should be adopted when the Lagna is strongest; the Pinda one when the Sun is powerful and the Nisargajayus when the Moon is endowed with full strength.

english translation

aMzodbhavaM vilagnAtpaiNDaM bhAnornisargajaM candrAt। eteSAM yo balavAMstasyAmuM kalpayeddAyam॥19॥
