लग्नाधीशान्मृत्युषष्ठव्ययस्थाः पापाः सन्तो नैधनं वर्जयित्वा। अस्मिन् योगे जायते यो मनुष्यस्तस्यायुः स्यात् षष्टिवर्षं प्रसिद्धम्॥३६॥
When malefics are posited in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses reckoned from the lord of the Lagna, and benefics in any house or houses other than the 8th, the person concerned will live for 60 years for certain.

होराजन्माधिपती ह्यस्तगतौ मृत्युराशिसंयुक्तौ। लग्नचतुष्टयरहिते देवगुरौ पञ्चषष्टिवर्षाणि॥३७॥
When the lords of the Lagna and of the sign occupied by the Moon are eclipsed and posited in the 8th house (it may also mean—are posited in the 7th or the 8th), and Jupiter is posited in any house other than the Lagna and the Kendras, the person born will live for 65 years.

अर्ककुजमन्दयुक्ते लग्ने बलवर्जिते सुराचार्ये। चन्द्रे व्ययात्मजे वा सप्ततिवर्षं तु जीवितं विद्यात्॥३८॥
When the Sun, Mars and Saturn are posited in the Lagna, Jupiter is weak and the Moon is in the 5th or the 12th house, the native will live for 70 years.
