युग्मर्क्षगौ चन्द्रशुक्रौ द्व्यंशस्थौ वा बुधोदये। विषमेष्वारजीवौ वा यमलः स्यान्न संशयः॥१२॥

There will undoubtedly be born twins under the following yogas; (1) the Moon and Venus both posited in even signs, or in dual Navamsas; (2) Mercury in the Lagna and Mars and Jupiter in odd signs (or Amsas). ॥ In the above case if Mercury occupies Mithuna or Dhanus and the same Navamsa, or if Mercury aspects the Lagna, both in male dual Rasi or Amsa, there will be two boys, otherwise, girls.॥
