शुक्रज्ञयोर्द्विगुणितं भानुस्फुटवद्धनक्षयं कुर्यात्। मूढोदयवक्रेषु च कुर्यादेवं तयोस्तु नान्यत्र॥१५॥

In the case of Venus and Mercury, the figures have to be doubled; addition or subtraction should be resorted to as in the case of the figures for the Sun; when the two planets are eclipsed or reappearing (after eclipse) or are retrograde in their motion, then alone, this has to be done and nowhere else.

zukrajJayordviguNitaM bhAnusphuTavaddhanakSayaM kuryAt। mUDhodayavakreSu ca kuryAdevaM tayostu nAnyatra॥15॥
