Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury and the Moon are the planets arranged seriatim according to the length of the time they abide in the zodiacal signs. Rahu (ascending node) whose position is at the topmost of the Earth's orbit has predominating strength when he occupies a position below the planets above-mentioned, (i. e., when he is before or to the east of them. They become stronger and stronger as they occupy lower and lower positions among the signs of the zodiac. But Rahu becomes strong when he occupies the top of the Earth's circle, i. e., the 10th house.)
