hk transliteration by Sanscriptपरार्द्धे दक्षिणं ब्रूयाज्जन्म सम्पृच्छते बुधः। ऋतुर्वाच्यो दृगाणेशो लग्नसंस्थोऽथवा ग्रहः॥८॥

In the Uttarayana, the lords of the three Ritus are Saturn, Venus and Mars, while in the Dakshinayana, the corresponding lords are the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter.

If the Lagna, Hora or Drekkana rising at the time of query belong to the Sun, and be not (conjoined with or) aspected by any other planet, it should be understood that the querist should have been born in the Greeshma Ritu.
