पुष्प संस्पर्शनादेवमृतुर्वाच्यो न संशयः। अधः कायं स्पृशेत्पूर्व ऊर्ध्वाङ्गस्पर्शने परः॥१४॥

The Ritu may also be guessed correctly by touching a flower. If the querist should touch first a lower limb of the body, the birth was in the Purva Ayana; if an upper limb, the birth was in the Dakshinayana.

puSpa saMsparzanAdevamRturvAcyo na saMzayaH। adhaH kAyaM spRzetpUrva UrdhvAGgasparzane paraH॥14॥
