एषु स्थानेषु युताः सौम्याः शुभदा बलान्विता ज्ञेयाः। क्रूरास्तु नेष्टफलदा भवनेशविवर्जिताः सदा चिन्त्यम्॥३॥

Benefics endowed with strength are known to produce the good effects pertaining to the Bhava they occupy, while malefics, the contrary. In the case of Bhavas which are not occupied by their lords, effects should always be judged in this manner.

english translation

eSu sthAneSu yutAH saumyAH zubhadA balAnvitA jJeyAH। krUrAstu neSTaphaladA bhavanezavivarjitAH sadA cintyam॥3॥
