स्त्रीपुरुषयोः समानं योगादि दशाफलं च पूर्वोक्तम्। यद्यदयोग्यं स्त्रीणां तत्तत्सर्वं वदेत्स्वनाथेषु॥१॥
The effects derivable from the Yogas and the Dasas described already which are common to both men and women are applicable to both. Those that are found (in female horoscopes) suitable to females should be declared as applicable to them alone; the rest should be ascribed to their husbands.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptवैधव्यं निधनगृहे पतिसौभाग्यं सुखं च जामित्रे। सौन्दर्यं तु विलग्ने विचिन्तयेत् पुत्रसम्पदं नवमे॥२॥
The death of the husband is to be deduced through the 8th house (from the Lagna or the Moon whichever is strong). Her happiness and her husband's appearance, etc, are to be declared from the 7th house. Matters relating to her appearance, beauty, etc. should be determined from the Lagna. Children and wealth should be declared through the 7th house.

Benefics endowed with strength are known to produce the good effects pertaining to the Bhava they occupy, while malefics, the contrary. In the case of Bhavas which are not occupied by their lords, effects should always be judged in this manner.

If the Lagna or the Moon (whichever of them is stronger) be in male signs and male Navamsas, she will be masculine in form and masculine in her bearing; if they be conjoined with (or aspected by) malefic planets, she will be unbecoming and unfit for the husband.
