सूर्यसितयोस्तु योगे दशमे रन्ध्रे च पुत्रभवने वा॥ नृपसदृशो विख्यातो बलवानन्येषु वित्तसुखहीनः॥८॥

sanskrit

If the Sun and Venus combine in any one of the houses, viz., the 10th, the 8th and the 5th, the person born will be equal to a king, widely famed, and powerful; if they occupy any of the other houses, the native will have neither wealth nor happiness.

english translation

sUryasitayostu yoge dazame randhre ca putrabhavane vA॥ nRpasadRzo vikhyAto balavAnanyeSu vittasukhahInaH॥8॥
