दशमायोदयरन्ध्रेष्वेकस्मिन् भास्करारयोर्योगे। जातो महाकुलीनो बलवानन्येषु संयुतौ निःस्वः॥६॥
If the Sun and Mars occupy together any one of the 10th, the 11th, the 1st and the 8th houses, the person must be born in a very high and rich family and possess great strength; if the two planets be together in any one of the other houses, the person born will have no wealth at all.

गुरुभास्करयोर्लग्ने संयोगे धर्मकर्मलाभे वा। आज्ञाबलैः समेतो विख्यातो दुर्गतश्च संजातिः॥७॥
If the Sun and Jupiter be together in the Lagna or in any one of the 3 houses, viz., the 9th, the 10th and the 11th, the person born will have at his command a powerful army; he will be famous and live in a dwelling well-fortified and difficult to be approached, or is unhappy.

सूर्यसितयोस्तु योगे दशमे रन्ध्रे च पुत्रभवने वा॥ नृपसदृशो विख्यातो बलवानन्येषु वित्तसुखहीनः॥८॥
If the Sun and Venus combine in any one of the houses, viz., the 10th, the 8th and the 5th, the person born will be equal to a king, widely famed, and powerful; if they occupy any of the other houses, the native will have neither wealth nor happiness.

भानुः स्वपुत्रसहितो नवमे धनभेऽपि वा षष्ठे। जनयेत् प्रसिद्धकीर्त्तिं सुखिनं शेषेषु वित्तहीनं च॥९॥
When the Sun and Saturn occupy together the 9th, the 2nd or the 6th house, the personi will be very widely-famed and happy; if in any one of the other houses, the native concerned will be devoid of wealth.

रक्तेन्दुयुतौ लग्ने दशमे वा धर्मपुत्रलाभे वा। धनवान् भूपतितुल्योऽनुक्तेषु युतौ तु बन्धुसुखहीनः॥१०॥
