यद्येकोऽप्युच्चगतो मित्रेण निरीक्षितो नृपं जनयेत्। मित्रयुतो लग्ने वा धनधान्यसमन्वितो नृपो भवति॥२१॥

If one at least of the planets be exalted at a birth, and be aspected by another friendly planet, a King is ushered into the world. The same will be the case if the planet first aforesaid be conjoined with a friendly planet and be posited in the Lagna.

english translation

yadyeko'pyuccagato mitreNa nirIkSito nRpaM janayet। mitrayuto lagne vA dhanadhAnyasamanvito nRpo bhavati॥21॥
