सिंहे सूर्योदये यस्य शुक्रांशकविवर्जिते। कन्यागते बुधे जातो नीचोऽपि पृथिवीपतिः॥१०॥

If, at Sunrise, sign Simha be rising and the Navamsa at the time be owned by any planet other than Venus, and if Mercury occupy Kanya, the person concerned, though base-born, will rule over the earth.

siMhe sUryodaye yasya zukrAMzakavivarjite। kanyAgate budhe jAto nIco'pi pRthivIpatiH॥10॥
