(अथ केन्द्रयोगास्तत्फलानि च) लग्नकेन्द्रस्थितैः सर्वैर्योगो मङ्गलनामकः। मध्यकेन्द्रस्थितैः सर्वैर्मध्ययोग उदाहृतः॥३४॥

When all the planets occupy houses which are Kendra with respect to the Lagna, the Yoga is named मङ्गल (Mangala). If they occupy the 10th (Madhya Kendra), the Yoga is termed मध्य (Madhya).
