अथ सङ्कीर्णदशायां स्थानसुखार्था भवन्ति बलहीनाः। परगृहनिवासशीलो लोके मान्योऽतिविद्वांश्च॥१॥
In the case of a Dasa of miscellaneous nature, the position (dignity?), happiness and wealth will only be weak and not strong. He will however adapt himself to live under the protection of others, command respect paid by people and will be highly learned.

During the Dasa of a planet who is retrograde, one will have honor, combined with valour and will be moneyed. In the Dasa of a planet occupying an auspicious Rasi and Navamsa and free from quincunx position one will get a kingdom.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptनीचारिभवनसंस्थितवक्रदशायां कुकर्मरतः। बन्धुजनगर्हितात्मा विदेशनिरतोऽस्वतन्त्रश्च॥३॥
When a planet occupies his depression or inimical house and is also retrograde in motion, the person concerned will be engaged in doing vile acts. He will be reviled by his relations. He will dwell in a foreign place and be a servant under another.

During one's Bhukti and another's Antara in Rahu's Dasa when Rahu is between two planets, the person will endure acute misery for a period of two years. He will lose relations, suffer disease when the Dasa and Antara Dasa of two inimical planets are operating.

The Dasa of a planet conjoined with Rahu though otherwise auspicious will yield quite inauspicious results. At the close of the period, there will be disease, misery or a fall in one's position.
