जीवस्य दशां प्राप्य प्रशस्तवेदार्थशास्त्रपाठरतः। धर्मादिवर्गचिन्ता प्रधानजनवल्लभोऽतिमेधावी॥१॥
When Jupiter's Dasa augurs, the person concerned will engage himself in the commendable act of learning the Vedas and their meaning. His mind will be thinking of the four ends of life, viz., धर्म, अर्थ, काम and मोक्ष. He will become the favourite of the chief men of the place, and will be very intelligent.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptअध्ययनदेवतार्चागदजययज्ञक्रियदिभिर्वित्तम्। जन्मप्रभावतोऽर्थान् नृपप्रसादाद्धनं समाप्नोति॥२॥
In the Dasa of Jupiter, one acquires money through study, worship of Gods, medicine, performance of sacrifices for getting victory, etc. Owing to one's high birth, he also acquires wealth through royal favour.

adhyayanadevatArcAgadajayayajJakriyadibhirvittam। janmaprabhAvato'rthAn nRpaprasAdAddhanaM samApnoti॥2॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअश्वादिवाहनाप्तिं भूम्यम्बरदारपुत्रसम्पन्नः। सत्संगतिः कुलाढ्यो बलाढ्यता भूपतित्वं वा॥३॥
He will get horses and other vehicles, will obtain lands, clothes, wife, sons, etc; he will move in high good circles, will be strong and robust in health and may even obtain kingship.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptकार्येषु सूक्ष्मबुद्धिस्त्रिकालविद् ज्ञानकर्मकुशलश्च। प्लिहविद्रधिगुल्माद्यैर्निपीडितश्चोर्ध्वरोगी स्यात्॥४॥
He will be keen in all his actions, knowing the past, present and future, and clever in his duties. He will suffer from spleen, abscess, etc. He will further suffer from Urdhva Roga.
