जीवस्य दशां प्राप्य प्रशस्तवेदार्थशास्त्रपाठरतः। धर्मादिवर्गचिन्ता प्रधानजनवल्लभोऽतिमेधावी॥१॥

When Jupiter's Dasa augurs, the person concerned will engage himself in the commendable act of learning the Vedas and their meaning. His mind will be thinking of the four ends of life, viz., धर्म, अर्थ, काम and मोक्ष. He will become the favourite of the chief men of the place, and will be very intelligent.

jIvasya dazAM prApya prazastavedArthazAstrapATharataH। dharmAdivargacintA pradhAnajanavallabho'timedhAvI॥1॥
