जयति जगदेकहेतुर्विश्वात्मा सर्वलोकदीपकरः। अनुदिनमुदयविनाशस्थितिकर्ता भास्करो दिनाधीशः॥१॥

There flourishes the (divine) Sun, the lord of the Day, who is the sole cause and the soul of the Universe, whose rays illumine all the worlds and who daily brings about creation, destruction and protection.

jayati jagadekaheturvizvAtmA sarvalokadIpakaraH। anudinamudayavinAzasthitikartA bhAskaro dinAdhIzaH॥1॥
