विष्णुग्रन्थेस्तथा भेदः परमानन्दसूचकः I अतिशून्ये विमर्दश्च भेरीशब्दस्तथा भवेत् ॥४-२१॥
Moreover, the vishņu-granthi is pierced through, various sounds like that of kettle drum etc. are heard in the void (atishunya), bringing in Absolute Bliss.

'तृतीयायां ततो नित्यं' आविष्कारो मर्द्दलध्वनिः I महाशून्यं ततो याति सर्वसिद्धिसमाश्रयः ॥४-२२॥
In the third state, one hears the sound of kettle drum, (prana) reaches the mahashunya ( center of the eyebrows ), which results in attainment of all the siddhis (supernatural powers).

चिदानन्दं ततो जित्वा परमानन्दसम्भवः I दोषदु:खजरामृत्यु' क्षुधा 'निद्राविवर्जितः ॥४-२३॥
The yogi achieves mental happiness, which springs from Absolute Bliss and becomes free from all disorders, sufferings, old age, (premature ) death, hunger and thirst.

रुद्रग्रन्थिं ततो भित्त्वा शर्वपीठगतोऽनिलः I निष्पत्तौ वैणवः शब्दः क्वणद्वीणाक्वणों भवेत् ॥४-२४॥
When the anila (praņa) courses to the sarvapitha after piercing through the rudragranthi, one attains the state of nishpatti in which he hears the notes of finely tuned vina.

जब अनिल (प्राण) रुद्रग्रन्थि को भेदने के बाद सर्वपीठ की ओर बढ़ता है, तो व्यक्ति निश्पत्ति की स्थिति प्राप्त करता है जिसमें वह सूक्ष्म रूप से स्वरित वीणा के स्वर सुनता है।

दृष्टिः स्थिरा यस्य विनैव लक्ष्यात् वायुः स्थिरो यस्य विना प्रयत्नात् I चित्तं स्थिरं यस्य विनावलम्बात् ' स एव योगी स गुरुः स सेव्यः ॥४-२५॥
A yogi is considered a guru, whose gaze is fixed without an object, vayu is steady without effort and the mind is stable without an object of concentration. Such a yogi should be accepted as a guru.

उस योगी को गुरु माना जाता है, जिसकी दृष्टि बिना किसी वस्तु के स्थिर होती है, वायु बिना किसी प्रयास के स्थिर होती है और मन बिना किसी वस्तु के स्थिर होता है। ऐसे योगी को गुरु के रूप में स्वीकार करना चाहिए।
