मकरन्दं पिबेद भृंगो गन्धो न प्रेक्ष्यते यथा I नादासक्तं तथा चित्तं विषयान्नहि" कांक्षते ॥ ४-१२॥
A bee who enjoys the nectar, would not care for fragrance. In the same manner, the mind having been absorbed in nada, would not run after the objects.

जो मधुमक्खी रस का आनंद लेती है, उसे सुगंध की परवाह नहीं होती। इसी प्रकार नाद में लीन होने से मन विषयों के पीछे नहीं भागेगा।
