अष्टधा क्रियते चैतत् यामे यामे दिने दिने I पुण्यसंघात 'सन्धाय पापौघभिदुरः सदा ॥ २-४९॥
If it is practised eight times a day every three hours (yāma = 3 hours), it helps accumulating merits and destroys multitude of sins.

यदि इसका अभ्यास दिन में आठ बार हर तीन घंटे (यम) किया जाए = 3 घंटे), यह पुण्य संचय में मदद करता है और कई पापों को नष्ट कर देता है।
